one of the joys of being a seminarian

this was one of the tumultous moments we all enjoyed as seminarians, being visited by our girlfriends(?)-sisters, cousins, distant relatives, & dear friends from colegio de la milagrosa, sor. nat'l highschool, & other schools around the province and even outside the province...hanep sa "rara" an mga seminaristas. hehehehe!!!

first year palang kami, aktibo na ini si eric "bukag' borja sa maski nano na aktibidades, just look at this foto and notice the seminarians' gladness maski didi lang sa our lady's village (bibincahan) an libot san parade...mga maogmahon kay wara sin eskwela saro kasemana, puro lang games.hahahaha!!

HANEP sa poise, bagan mga boldstar on the making kun napapiriktyur...lalo na si hayle f....hehehehe! atty? i enjoyed every moment we all shared here, eventhough pongpong already left us and is now enjoying his stay w/ the Lord...we will not forget him and will pray for him, always.

we were sophomores then when we decided na bitin kami san mga outing sa seminaryo pag may bday an mga padi, so we had our own outing..sa san binon hot spring resort an venue san 1st outing namon. present here were caloy v., joebert f., ronald y., the late pongpong g., hayle f. (guest-batch '83), chin dc, and art f. Hain na daw ini si art fortuno san barcelona?

many thanks to this guy, almost all of the photos i posted here were from his album...as a sign of gratitude to him and for being his friend thru the years, i am in constant search for his "betterhalf-to-be", mga sano, i need your help on looking for his future wife kay ma-birthday na lamang siya on dec. 10 and he will be 41 yrs. old...makahigop man lamang sin sabaw kami na naghuhulat na maka-asawa na ini si caloy, hahahaha!!!

this was the acceptance letter of caloy v. from the seminary... is there any one among us sano who has an acceptance letter w/ an earlier date than his? seguro wara, ha? kay kun igwa man, di na yon kaya e-scan o eedit sa kalumaan, hehehe! 

MEMORIES PA!!!

ok talaga si caloy sa collection san mga old fotos... until now, he still even has a copy of his letter of acceptance to the seminary from the rector of olps then, Msgr. Concordio Maria Sarte, D.D., plus the list of requirements to bring on entrance day....HANEP! anyone interested on comparing the olps during the 70's and the present? nxt time i'll post these documents.

most of these girls of colegio de la milagrosa's drum & bugle corp were very close friends of the seminarians...everytime, the seminary held its intramurals, this dbcorp was borrowed from colegio, thru this, the seminarians really made friends w/ them, especially me and some of my batchmates...until now we are very close friends. maski gururang na we never loss our ties w/ them.

how i miss the outings we sanos experienced w/ great jubillation, every time a fr. of the seminary celebrated his bday. hamakon mo holiday yun sa olps, wara na eskwela, may outing pa sa beach. but the most unforgettable memory of it, was the MANANITA or the early morning serenade for the bday celebrant. sayang wara ako maski saro na foto sadi na mananita.
